About Us
WHAT IS KCS?
KINGS CHRISTIAN SCHOOL is an independent non-denominational Christian School located in Kings County, California. Each student is taught God's claim to every part of his or her life. For this reason, we use the Bible-centered curriculum most of which has been developed by A Beka Book and Pensacola Christian School. Each of the five subject areas (Bible, language arts, mathematics, science and social studies) are directly and consistently related to the Word of God. The life-giving principles of God's Word are incorporated with sound academic material, giving the student a view of God's purpose in all of life. Beyond the fundamentals stressed in these five basis subject areas, students receive supplementary and enrichment instruction and exercise in health, social graces, physical education, art, music, etc.
The services of KCS are available to any student, "regardless of religious affiliation, race, color, national or ethnic origin provided the student and parent are willing to meet the high achievement, behavioral, and moral standards of the school" (from Kings Christian School Nondiscriminatory Policy of Admissions)..

DOCTRINAL STATEMENT
We believe the Bible to the the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God. We believe the Bible to be without error in all it's parts. II Tim 3:16; II Peter 1:21
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons. Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Gen 1:26; Matt 3:16,17; Matt 28:19
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father and His personal return in power and glory. John 1:14; Hebrews 1:8; Matt 1:18; Hebrews 4:15; John 21:25; Romans 5:6-11; Acts 1:9-11; Mark 16:19
We believe that all men are born into this world with sin nature. We believe further that for salvation of the lost and sinful men, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely necessary. Romans 3:23; John 3:3
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life. Galatians 2:20
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved into the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation. John 5:28,29
We believe that heaven and hell are definite places. Matthew 10:28; Rev 20:13-15
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. Eph 4:1-7
