BIBLEStudy the Exodus story, starting with God's promise to Abraham through Moses' death before the Hebrews enter the promised land. Also study the life of Jesus, reading from all four gospels.
HISTORY
New world history and geography presented from a Christian perspective. With the aid of many colorful maps, photographs, and illustrations, the text inspires students to learn more about people and places of their own land and neighboring countries.
LANGUAGE
English. This course concentrates on writing and grammar. The emphasis on grammar is on parts of speech and punctuation. The writing includes letters, stories, essays, news articles, poetry, and a research paper. Vocabulary is studied to increase understanding of new words and their uses in daily language.
Literature. This course uses core literary works to establish cultural understanding through which world history is taught. Many genres, including poetry, plays, novels, folk tales, short stories, and biographies are employed. Vocabulary is also studied to help students understand the material that is read.
MATH
Review basics of Math, including fractions, decimals and percentages. Spend some time in banking and finances. Finally, get into some algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
SCIENCE
Begin with great men of science and the scientific method. They believed the universe operates by a well-designed plan. They accredited that plan to God. The students study plants, our bodies, physical science, the atmosphere, weather, and animals from that perspective. A science project is completed the second semester.
