ADMISSION APPLICATIONS
Admissions with Regard to Christian FocusREGISTRATION AND ADMISSION PROCEDURES
Because KCS is an independent Christian school, students of all Christian denominations may apply for admission. While families of students applying for admissions are not necessarily required to be Christians, it is imperative that parents understand that one of the school's primary objectives is to lead students and their families into a personal and life-changing belief in Jesus Christ and an ever-growing relationship with Him. Families considering enrolling their children at KCS should weigh this matter carefully, as it is a central focus of nearly everything that the school does. Parents who find they cannot support this school position are encouraged to consider a different educational setting for their children.
Admission Application Completion
All application forms for admission must be completed entirely and honestly. Because the information requested on these forms can be vital when evaluating applicants, students of families which deliberately falsify admission/scholarship applications may be denied enrollment or dismissed from school.
Registration RequirementsANNUAL RE-ENROLLMENT
Before parents can register their child, they must bring their child's immunization records with them at the time of registration. Parents of Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten students must also bring the child's birth certificate.
Initial Application and Registration Procedure
Parents register their child using the following procedure:
- Secure an application packet from the Reception Office or download the appropriate "pdf" files. Read through the information to become as familiar as possible with the school. See the application page for a detailed checkoff list for each grade level.
- Submit the completed application forms and application/placement fees. (These fees are non-refundable).
Each year, usually the first of April, re-enrollment begins for returning families whose children are already attending KCS. It is necessary for parents to re-enroll students returning for the coming school year, and it will be assumed that the student will not be returning in the fall if the form is not returned. It is highly recommended that students who are planning to return for the next school year re-enroll prior to the beginning of open registration, which begins one month after registration for returning students.OFFICE OPERATING HOURS
